Steve Butler
Founding Director and Lead Appraiser

Steve has varied experiences in the Automotive field including many of his early years as body man and estimator, moving up to mechanical services and parts departments then into Sales and management of Retail and Wholesale car lots in the Midwest and the South Eastern United States.

Opening and / or operating several Parts and "Speed Shops" during the "Muscle Car Era". Steve has also designed and "spec'd out" restorations or "Builds' of Automobiles, Street Rods, Hot Rods and Restoration of "Original Concourse Cars", including but not limited to Electrical, Sheet metal, Mechanical, Upholstery and Custom Graphics & Paint.

Steve has also been involved in purchasing and maintaining large fleets of Automobiles and light duty trucks.

Steve has been instrumental in establishing parameters, guide lines and policies to establish values of Restored, Antique, Collector,   Special Interest, One Ofs (Custom Built) and Customized Automobiles as well as standards for "Judging" in Shows or other events.

Steve has spent the past 18 years as an active historian and feature writer for local, regional, national and international  publications, continuing his meticulous  research on this subject, enlisting information from  NADA, Kelly Blue Book and monitoring and indexing results from the auctions conducted by Barrett-Jackson. Mecum and RM collector Auto Auction organizations. The Central Florida area is truly an international and diverse Market, this requires extensive research to establish a value for these examples of "Rolling Automotive History".

Steve, along with his wife Linda are active in the "Registration" and / or tracking of "Cruisers" and their automobiles that attend "Cruises", "Cruise-Ins" and Auto Shows. Including but not limited to "The Saturday Nite Cruise©" an international tradition since 1990 at the Old Town shopping attraction in Kissimmee, Floridan or Little Darlins' Street Party and the Wednesday Nite Cruise-In  every week with their 2 Classic Car. He has photographed and inspected thousands of these cars that are on display at his "The Last Decade" website. They have also developed databases for tracking the "Values" of these examples of "Rolling Automotive History".

Most recently he is involved as Publisher and Managing Editor for "Steve Butler's Cruise-In News" and "Steve Butler's Cruise-In News On-Line", Central Florida's longest running weekly publication that covers many "Automobile" events, that he and his wife attend on a weekly basis, along with adding his expertise as the Lead Appraiser for FACACA.

Steve also has many years in the marine field and is proficient verifying appraisals on vessels up to and including 55'. His connections with national and International Yacht Brokers allow him up to minute changes in this market as well.
